Questions

Everything you might want to ask

29 of them — how the work gets to us, how long it takes, what it costs, what you get back, and how it works if you are a videographer handing the edit over.

1General

No — we edit, and only edit. You (or your videographer) shoot the day and send us the footage; we send back the finished film. It means every hour we have goes into the edit rather than into being somewhere on a Saturday.

Two kinds of people. Couples who have footage — from their videographer, or filmed by friends and family — and want a proper film made of it. And wedding videographers who shoot beautifully and would rather hand the edit over than spend the week after grading it.

960+ films delivered, to couples in 12 countries, at an average of 4.9 out of 5 across our published reviews.

The UK — and we work with couples and videographers worldwide. Everything happens through your portal, so where you are makes no difference to how the film gets to you.

Every film on our site is ours, start to finish. If you want something closer to your own day — a particular culture, venue or style — ask and we will send examples.

2Sending your footage

Upload it straight to your portal, or send a Google Drive or Dropbox link — whichever is easier. Nothing needs to be renamed or organised first.

As much as the day produced. Tell us roughly how many gigabytes when you ask for a quote, so we can check everything arrived.

That is normal and it is fine. Say how many days and how many cameras in the quote form — it changes how long the assembly takes, so we would rather know up front than find out halfway.

The things only you know: the music you want, the speeches that must stay whole, the people who matter, and any look you are after. Your instructions become a checklist the editor works through and ticks off.

3Turnaround and changes

A first cut in three to ten days, depending on the length of the film. If you need a teaser out while the day is still fresh, that is forty-eight hours.

Yes — express delivery is an add-on at $100 and moves your project to the front.

Yes. You watch the cut on your own review link and leave a note at the exact second you mean, so nobody has to describe which shot in an email. Further revision rounds are $20 each.

Your dashboard shows the stage the film is at — received, editing, ready for review, delivered — so you never have to email and ask.

4The edit itself

Colour grading, sound design and mixing, the source file, and 4K delivery. They are not extras and they are not priced separately.

Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Lightroom. It matters because the project comes back as a file you can open and keep working in, not a dead end.

Cinematic tracks licensed from premium libraries and cleared for sharing anywhere. If you already have a song in mind, tell us and we will build around it.

One to three minutes — the day’s best moments, cut to be watched more than once.

Yes: subtitles $25, motion graphics and animated titles $30, a custom thumbnail $15. Non-English speeches are no problem — just tell us the language.

The 4K master, any social cuts you asked for, and the source file — all in your portal, yours to download and keep.

5Photos

Yes. Picture Edit covers up to 1,000 photos — professional culling plus light and colour correction — at $10 per hundred, so a thousand photos is $100.

A full album from a single day is $200, covering the set rather than a fixed count — culled, corrected and delivered to one consistent look.

6Prices and paying

Teaser from $180 · Highlight $250 · Full film $300–$400 by finished length · Commercial highlight $120 · Creator reel $30 · Picture edit $100. Add-ons are listed with their price, so nothing appears on the bill you did not choose.

Yes — build your own package on the pricing section and you will see the total as you go. No card, no upload, and nothing to pay to see it.

Securely by card or bank transfer from your portal.

7For videographers

Not unless you tell them. The film goes out as your studio’s work — we are not in the credits unless you put us there.

That is the point of using us. Your capacity stops being however many edits you can finish yourself, so you can book the season you actually want and spend it shooting.

Entirely. You brief us, you review the cut, you deliver it. We work behind you, not beside you.

8Privacy

The editor working on it and the person checking it. Nothing goes anywhere else, and nothing is published as an example without asking you first.

No. Client names and contact details are not visible to editors in our system — they see the project and the brief, not who you are.

Still stuck?

If your question is not here, ask it — we would rather answer it properly than have you guess.
